SummaryHermione's POV and trio friendship. We're a tapestry, a lovely Middle Eastern tapestry with an elaborate design, though, not without our flaws.

I've read a lot of books, that's no surprise to anyone. Once I read that life was a tapestry and would only become brighter, more vibrant and the design more complex as time went on.

If our design gets anymore complicated, I think we're going to be in trouble.

It could always stand to get a little brighter, a little more vibrant. There's too much dark, too many strands of Death Eaters, Voldemort and death. We need a few more strands of happiness and love. There's definitely enough friendship.

The two of them are zooming around the quidditch pitch.Harry's nothing but a black blur in the sky and Ron is pushing his broom as fast as he can. He gives up after a moment and lands, coming to sit next to me.

"Don't worry, as soon as the Canons finalize everything, you'll be the one who's a blur, not him." Ron snickers and tosses his hair out of his face.

"I'll make sure you two have front row seats," he replies. Harry comes down a moment later and we headed home to the Burrow.

A few days later, my thoughts stray to us being a tapestry again and I come to a conclusion: we're a tapestry. A lovely Middle Eastern tapestry with an elaborate design, though, not without our flaws.

Some are physical, Harry's scars, my limp, Ron's memory problems. . . Some are psychological, but either way they're there. They're marring the design in the tapestry.

It may not be perfect anymore, but I wouldn't trade our tapestry for the world.

"You comin'?" Harry calls, shaking my from my day dream as he and Ron head to the small pond.

"Yes. I'll be there in a minute," I call as I hurry to get ready and join them.
