I must be serious about this one, I'm giving it a title.

Paring: Eventually Sam/Jack
Summary: Trying to hurry O'Neill along, Sam winds up stuck on Edora as well.

"Sir!" Carter yelled out after O'Neill as he and Laira took off in the direction away from the gate. She turned to look at Teal'c, squinting her eyes at the hot, dry wind that was now whipping around them. Carter and the large Jaffa shared a look before they got back to the matter of helping the villagers through the stargate. As the line of villagers began to dwindle and the meteor strikes on the planet began to increase, Sam began yelling into her radio, trying to raise the Colonel.
"I'm going to find them!" she yelled to Teal'c
"That would not be advisable, Major Carter," he said calmly, helping the last elderly couple up the stairs. When he heard no response, he turned just in time to see Carter's green BDU's disappearing around the corner of a building. "Major Carter!" he called out to her again before trying to raise her on the radio. Deciding on a course of action, Teal'c took a moment to take in the planet. When he saw the large meteor heading towards him, his choice was made for him. He dashed and jumped through the ring, coming crashing down on to the metal grating of the gate ramp on the other side.
As Teal'c caught his breath, General Hammond rushed up the ramp and leaned over him.
"Where's the rest of SG-1?" he asked, his eyes scanning Teal'c's face desperately. The Jaffa looked slowly behind him and the general area around the gate, searching for the rest of his team. He discovered Daniel at the bottom of the ramp, arms crossed over his chest and his forehead creased in worry but there was no trace of either O'Neill or Carter.
"I am unsure," he said slowly, allowing the medical staff to start swarming around him. "Colonel O'Neill had gone to help Laira find her son and Major Carter headed off in the same direction a few moments later in an attempt to hurry them along." Hammond and Teal'c shared a look before they both realized that the two officers were stuck on Edora for the time being. Hammond let Teal'c volunteer for a rescue op before shaking his head and giving the order to wait 24 hours so the planet would calm some.
Satisfied that Teal'c was fine, the medical staff slowly left his side and General Hammond followed. Teal'c and Jackson locked eyes for a long moment before Teal'c stood and the pair left the gateroom to commiserate about their lost friends.
